Specially designed hanging dish for applying bird free gel to tree branches or a flat dish for ledges. Dishes are 70mm in diameter Bird Free in ready-to-use dishes is a patented preparation containing natural active ingredients that keeps all birds off all structures without harming them.

Bird Free is formulated so that birds won’t go near it:

Birds see ultraviolet light so it appears to them as fire.

The visual effect, whereby birds see Bird Free as fire, is immediately evident following installation.

Birds attempting to return to a habitat they have previously frequented will be observed veering off and landing elsewhere when they see the dishes of Bird Free in place.

Clients should be aware, however, that some sites, particularly nesting sites and long-standing night roosts, are so attractive to birds that a few dominant birds may still attempt to return for a day or two after Bird Free has been installed.

After a few days even the most dominant of birds will give up and the site will then be literally bird free.

Bird Free Cartridge 250g

Bird Free, a patented bird deterrent also known as 'fire gel' or 'optical gel' has become widely recognized as an effective, yet unobtrusive, bird control method. Bird Free gel is applied in low-profile application dishes, only 8mm high. One of its distinct advantages is that it deters birds from landing even when these dishes are placed behind the leading edge of a parapet or ledge. This makes the dishes invisible from ground level, thus preserving the aesthetic appearance of the building, while at the same time keeping it clean.

Bird free can last up to 6 months if left undisturbed and installed correctly on building’s or structures, it can last up to three months in orchards depending on environmental conditions.

Bird Free has long lasting efficacy with no damage to buildings and facilities. Oriental Herbal products contained in the gel form a film that prevents water from penetrating or evaporation from the ingredients.

How to Use:

Each roll is designed to be suspended above those areas where pest birds are causing a problem. Cut flash tape strips of 1 - 1.5m in length and hang from buildings or trees so they intersect the birds flight path, catch sunlight and move in the breeze. Use at least 10-15 flash tape strips for every 40 square meters of area. It is crucial to use enough product as the goal is to overwhelm the birds and give the impression they are surrounded by predators.

Eaton 4 The Birds Repellent Gel 300g

(93%) Transparent sticky non toxic gel which prevents birds from roosting.

The transparent gel is ideal to repel birds from structural areas such as: sills, ledges, roofs and parapets, roof mounted equipment such as air intakes and air conditioners: as well as firewalls, rafters, joists, light fixtures and signs.

Apply to clean dry surfaces.
Each cartridge is enough to lay a strip approximately 3 meters long.

Eaton 4 The Birds Repellent Liquid 3.78 Litre

JT Eaton 4 The Birds Transparent Bird Repellant Liquid is a non-toxic, formula bird repellent for use on ledges, sills, beams, rafters and hundreds of other indoor and outdoor locations where "nuisance birds" alight or roost.

Makes a surface sticky and uncomfortable to birds.

Hawk Bird Scarer

The Hawk Bird Scarer is a full size replica hawk molded from tough weather-proof plastic with imitation wing tips that flap when the bird is suspended. Originally invented to scare seagulls and shags off boats, yachts and wharves.

Protect your crops such as stone, pome fruits, nuts, berry or broad-acre crops on calm or windy days as you suspend your hawk over or near your crop. No power, wind or poison needed - environmentally friendly. One Hawk Bird Scarer would be suitable for the domestic back garden or pleasure craft, more would be needed for a large commercial crop.

Ideally, when suspended freely from high trees, two Bird Scarers will effectively keep 2ha free of any major bird damage, more may be needed depending on each situation/circumstance.

On a pole or guide-wire between 2 trees have the best effect. Effective against most birds such as starlings, mynahs, pigeons, swallows, seagulls, ducks but does not give 100% results for sparrows.

If the problem birds are already nesting then it is too late to use this device to stop them nesting - But the Hawk will stop them from nesting next season if the Hawk is installed before the nesting process starts.

How to use:

Attach strong fishing Line to wings and head of Hawk Bird Scarer
Attach weight to end of each Line.
Throw the weighted ends over the highest branch of trees surrounding the property.
Tighten the lines to position the Hawk Bird Scarer over the area to be protected.
Before hoisting, attach retrieving Line to the bird so that you can pull it down when no longer required.

Pestoff Bird Control Paste 500g

Active Ingredient: 2.5% Alphacloralose

For pest control of nuisance birds in horticulture, domestic and industrial pest control and agriculture. Pestoff Bird Paste: for controlling sparrows, mynahs, blackbirds and magpies.

Apply the paste liberally to slices of bread and lay baits in areas frequented by birds. Works best in ambient temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius. A narcotic product for the control of sparrows, pigeons and other grain eating birds.

Alphachloralose is not a poison but a narcotic therefore it anaesthetises the brain rather than killing. Alphachloralose bird bait anesthetizes birds so they can be easily removed. This does not kill birds out right, but puts them to sleep. Non target species can be revived in a warm place. Get rid of starlings, sparrows, pigeons and other pest birds.

Pestoff Treated Wheat

Active Ingredient: Alphachloralose 25g/kg

Narcotic product for the control of pest birds- sparrows, pigeons and other grain eating birds. Alphachloralose is not a poison but a narcotic and therefore acts by anaesthetising the brain rather than killing.

All the essential bodily functions are unaffected; the bird is merely stupefied. All drugged targeted birds must be euthanased in a humane manner. Refer to the Animal Welfare Act 1999 It is extremely difficult to rid birds from areas once damage has started. Therefore any control should be carried out just prior to the period that damage is likely to occur. The pre-feed bait should be exactly the same as the Alphachloralose product to be used.

For example:

If controlling nuisance birds that are feeding on wheat, then Alphachloralose wheat should be used.
If you have established pre-feeding with bread, then use Alphachloralose paste applied to bread.

Best results will be achieved by pre-feeding for 3 to 4 days but even for longer periods, when the largest volume of pest birds are feeding on the pre-feed bait. Pre-feeding not only educates the birds to feed from a set area but also ensures that sufficient bait has been applied for the nuisance birds. If all bait disappears following the first application then insufficient bait has been provided. Bird feeding periods are most intense early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Whichever time is selected, baiting must be maintained at that time. Birds are extremely smart and will detect even the slightest change in their environment and become wary.
